Entrepreneurial investors

Capital Mills started in 2016 to fill the gap between individual angel investors and traditional investment funds by establishing a network of (now over 50) investors - supported by an investment team for day-to-day operations.

The network has proven to be very valuable to the companies we provide funding to. All investors have an entrepreneurial background, often in tech.

Our investment team supports businesses on a day-to-day basis. Investors are engaged ‘on demand’. This keeps working with us efficient and effective.

Barry de Kock

Barry has joined Capital Mills early 2015 . Barry holds a MSc. degree in Finance from Tilburg University.

René Delsing

René joined Capital Mills in 2018 and holds a MSc. degree in finance from Maastricht University.

Lise van Mourik

Lise joined Capital Mills in 2021 and holds a MSc. degree in finance from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Erwin van der Veen

Erwin is a graduate in Information Technology, helped making Exact software the big behomoth it is today. Investing in startups since 2012.

Gijs den Hartog

Gijs holds a Msc degree in business economics from Erasumus University. Former entrepreneur. Has been investing in startups since 2014.

Jan Debets

Jan has joined Capital Mills in 2024. He previously managed a European business angel network in Brussels. He studied History in Leiden, Paris and Oxford and holds an MBA from HEC Paris.
